GeldPlan Companion (“Companion” or the “App”) is published by SI-DZHEM, TOO, registered in Kazakhstan as Товарищество с ограниченной ответственностью «Си-Джем» and trading as Si-Jam (“we”, “us”, “our”). Companion is an optional helper app for the separate GeldPlan Android application.
1. Notification Access and Background Operation
If you explicitly grant Android notification access, Companion can read notification contents and identify the apps that posted them, including while Companion is closed or not in use. This access is used only to prepare possible GeldPlan transaction entries for your review.
- Companion records an app’s name and package identifier so it can show that app in the observed-sources list.
- Companion stores and processes notification text only after you enable that specific source inside Companion.
- Notification text from sources you have not enabled is not stored and is not used to create model features or suggestions.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
For sources you enable, Companion may store:
- notification title and body text, source app, and notification time;
- local recognition suggestions and confidence values;
- your confirmed or corrected transaction type, amount, currency, and GeldPlan tag;
- local model weights learned from reviews you explicitly confirm;
- pairing keys, counters, settings, and the list of observed and enabled source apps.
Notification text, suggestions, reviews, and learned model weights are encrypted with a key held by Android Keystore. Other settings and source identifiers remain inside the App’s private Android storage. Android Auto Backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for Companion.
3. Local Recognition and Learning
Recognition and personalisation run on your device. Model suggestions are not treated as truth automatically. A review becomes local learning evidence only after your explicit confirmation. Recognition can be wrong, so Companion requires confirmation or correction before importing a proposed transaction.
4. Transfer to GeldPlan
When you explicitly confirm an import, Companion sends a signed transaction candidate directly to the compatible GeldPlan app on the same device. The candidate contains only the transaction type, amount, currency, event date, selected GeldPlan tag, a generated candidate identifier, and protocol/model version information. Companion does not send the raw notification text, source app identity, account or card identifiers, balances, or learned model weights to GeldPlan.
GeldPlan returns a signed status acknowledgement. Pairing and each import are initiated by you and protected by app-signing and cryptographic checks.
5. No Network Upload, Advertising, or Analytics in the Beta
The current Companion beta has no Internet permission and includes no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, cloud-sync, account, or payment SDK. Companion does not upload notification data, learning data, or identifiers to us or to a remote service.
Google Play and Android may independently process installation and aggregated diagnostic information under your Google and device settings. This platform processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
6. Retention and Deletion
- Disabling a source or notification access stops future capture.
- Existing cards remain until you archive and delete them.
- Deleting archived cards does not automatically remove learned model weights.
- The Forget all local learning control removes local learned weights.
- Clearing Companion’s app storage or uninstalling it removes its local inbox, settings, pairing information, observed-source list, and learned weights.
Normal app updates preserve local data. Because Android backup is disabled, uninstalling Companion or changing phones does not restore this data automatically.
7. Your Choices
- You can decline the in-app disclosure without granting notification access.
- You can revoke notification access at any time in Android Settings.
- You choose each source whose notification text Companion may store and process.
- You confirm or correct every transaction before it is sent to GeldPlan.
- You can archive and delete cards, forget learning, disconnect GeldPlan, or clear all App data.
8. Security and Limitations
Companion uses Android app sandboxing, Android Keystore-backed encryption, explicit package targeting, compatible app-signing certificates, signed messages, and replay counters. No security measure can eliminate every risk. A person who can unlock your device may be able to view data shown by Companion or GeldPlan.
9. Children
Companion is a personal budgeting utility and is not designed or marketed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
If Companion’s data practices change, including the addition of any network service, analytics, advertising, payment, or backup feature, we will update this policy and the relevant in-app and Google Play disclosures before relying on the changed practice.
